Balut (cooked duck embryo)

Did you know that a Balut yolk contains 760 mg of cholesterol. If you eat four pieces of Balut, that is 3,040 mg of cholesterol. Is it too much? Yes, because the Philippine Hearth Association suggests that healthy adult should limit his cholesterol intake up to 3,000 mg per day.
